After performing with Usher at Coachella, David Guetta and the “Without You” are returning to the studio together.
Out of all the collaborations David Guetta has done over the past year, which has been your favorite? If it was “Without You,” his track with Usher from Nothing But The Beat, you’re in luck.
Yesterday, the French DJ told The Hollywood Reporter, while filming on the set of America’s Best Dance Crew, that he and Usher are returning to the studio to create another hit. Without giving away too many details about their sessions, Guetta said: "Actually we are [collaborating]. These are really big records that we're working on right now. It's really crazy." Guetta and the “Climax” singer have been in more contact as of recent. Performing at Coachella, Guetta had Usher, who was near the tent in which the DJ was performing, spontaneously come on stage. About the experience, Guetta told the magazine: "It was a total surprise even for me. I was playing, and then he came to hang out and just to have a good time. Then I saw him on the side of the stage and I gave him the sign. He was like, 'Do you want me to do it with you? To come on stage?' and I was like, 'Hell yeah! Of course!'"
Usher might not be the only artist Guetta is returning to. Possible collaborations with Nicki Minaj (“Turn Me On” and “Where Them Girls At”), Kid Cudi (“Memories”), and Akon (“Sexy Chick”) are in the works. As of recent, however, Guetta has started his own label, one focusing solely on traditional and experimental house music – with no pop collaborations. Nevertheless, as he told The Hollywood Reporter, he is always tempted to collaborate while he is in Los Angeles.
If David Guetta could do a track with just about any artist, who would you like him to work with? Are there any other performers you would him to work with again?
